Searches for Liberal leader Justin Trudeau were the most widespread, covering most parts of the province. This may be partly explained by incumbency, where some Trudeau-related searches are connected to politcal or policy issues related to governing rather than the election.

Search interest in Conservative leader Erin O’Toole was high in the Kelowna corridor through the Oakanagan, as well as in the north.
NDP leader Jagmeet Singh had the highest search interest in the south of the province and on the Island.
Most searches for Maxime Bernier, the leader of the People’s Party of Canada, were concentrated in the north of the province and the Kelowna corridor of the Okanagan.
Searches for Green Party leader Annamie Paul were largley relegated to the Victoria area and parts of the Lower Mainland.
